Terra turned 38 at the beginning of this year. She joined us at the proud
age of 24 and was full of herself at that time and still is. Being a Palomino in a world of black horses is not easy.
However, she is a wonderful substitute mom for the weaned foals every year. In her younger years (speaking about the age between 24 and 32) Terra was
a wonderful teacher for beginners, very patient and careful not to set anybody in the dirt. She used to be a
thrill on the trails and on the beach, never hesitating to go in the surf. We retired Terra at age 32 and she has enjoyed her retirement very much,
with the occasional babysitting chores. We love you Terra and are glad for every day you spend with us :) |

Update: Terra left us
in August 2007. It was a beautiful sunny and warm day. She must have decided
that it was her day to leave this world behind and move on to greener
pastures.
Godspeed Terra. I hope we will find each other again in our next lives... |
